Thanks to its location on the Danube and at the crossroads of major routes, Novi Sad is well connected with surrounding towns and cities. It is about ~70 km northwest of Belgrade, ~300 km south of Budapest, ~150 km west of Timișoara and ~100 km south of Subotica / Hungarian border.

Where are we?

Serbia

The Republic of Serbia (88,407 km²) lies in Southeast and Central Europe, spanning parts of the Balkans and the Pannonian Plain. Pan-European corridors 10 (road/rail) and 7 (Danube) pass through Serbia.

Vojvodina

The Autonomous Province of Vojvodina stretches across the Pannonian Plain (21,506 km²), which is about 24% of Serbia’s territory.

City of Novi Sad

Novi Sad is the economic, social, educational, cultural and administrative center of Vojvodina and the second largest city in Serbia.

How to get to the Fair

By plane

Belgrade “Nikola Tesla” Airport is ~70 km away (less than one hour by car). Road and rail connections with Belgrade are excellent. Nearby airports: Osijek (96 km), Timișoara (126 km), Budapest (247 km).

By train

Novi Sad is well connected by rail with Serbia and Europe and lies on the international route Vienna - Budapest - Belgrade - Istanbul.

By road

The city lies on the European route E-75 (Budapest-Belgrade), with the E-70 (Zagreb-Belgrade) nearby. Distances: Budapest ~350 km, Belgrade ~70 km.

By bus (city / suburban)

By boat

Novi Sad lies on the Rhine-Main-Danube waterway connecting nine countries and six European capitals — arrival by river traffic is possible.

Accommodation

According to the Tourist Information Centre of Novi Sad, the city has dozens of hotels and accommodation is also available in private homes, hostels, lodgings and rural tourism.
